CHARGES and FEES:

Charges & Fees quoted are equal for 24 hours and 7 days. Christmas and New Year’s Day have an uplift applied as Sub-Contract drivers are used. Airport fees will include all parking. London and other Cities and Towns may have additional charges applied i.e. congestion charges and parking etc. Further charges apply for additional pick-ups, stops incurring waiting time or detours from the standard route at the customer’s request.

PAYMENTS:

We accept payment in Cash, Cheque and Bank transfer payable to I. Roberts. Payment by cheque / cash should be made on the outbound journey for the full amount if a return has been booked. Invoice / Receipts will be issued by email if required.

Payment by Bank transfer should be made prior to your journey.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION:

We will confirm the booking by email or phone. Please review the booking carefully and advise us as soon as possible of any errors or alterations.

Errors made by the customer with dates etc will be charged in full if a vehicle has been despatched and the customer will have to re-book.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellation charges may apply if less than 48 hours’ notice is given. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given a charge of 50% of the applicable fee may be required. If the vehicle has already been despatched the full applicable fee will be required.

DELAY IN TRANSFER:

We will do all that we can to transfer you to your destination in good time however we cannot accept responsibility for missed flights, meetings, etc. due to traffic accidents, delays, mechanical breakdowns, extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have their passports, tickets, etc. with them and that any visa requirements have been met.

PRICING:

Price plans are reviewed (and increases applied if applicable) at the beginning of the month of April on a yearly basis at the discretion of I Roberts Cars.

PASSENGER INFORMATION:

Customers must inform us at the time of making a booking if the Customer or any Passenger wishes to carry any domestic animals in any Passenger Vehicle. All domestic animals must be carried in a suitable locked box or cage, Guide dogs are exempt from this requirement and are permitted to be carried in any Passenger Vehicle.

Passengers are not permitted to smoke in any Passenger Vehicle (including using Electronic cigarettes).

We do not accept any responsibility for the loss of or damage to any luggage which is transported in a Passenger Vehicle.

All Passengers are required to use seatbelts at all times.

We may charge reasonable repair or cleaning charges plus losses, representing loss of earnings for the Driver in the event of spillages in or in the event that any Passenger becomes ill and contaminates or damages a Passenger Vehicle.

We shall not be responsible for any property left by Passengers in any Passenger Vehicle. Where property is found in a Passenger Vehicle it will be stored by us for a suitable period and thereafter we shall be entitled to return or otherwise dispose of such property as we, in its absolute discretion, see fit.
